Choosing a Beach

Finally! It’s time to choose a spot. This is largely a matter of personal taste and preference, and the decision is yours. But here are a few things for you to think about, in no particular order:

  • Recommendations of your Photographer
  • Access and Parking versus Degree of Seclusion
  • Background / Backdrops for Photos (Skyway Bridge, Rocks, Sea Oats, etc.)
  • The sand – Gulf Beaches = sugar white, Atlantic Beaches = seashells and dull brown.
  • Proximity to Hotel, Friends, Family, Guests, etc.
  • Proximity to Airport
  • Any licenses or permits that may be required (for use of hotel grounds, etc.)

Ultimately, this is your personal choice, and no one should rain on your parade. I hope this guide has made some of the details a little easier to cope with so you can choose a beach that suits you and enjoy your perfect Florida Beach Portrait Session!
